In the beginning, it was clear that existing senior care models didn’t go far enough to address seniors' overall health and well-being. So Joel Theisen founded AgeWell, a company that for the first time, recognized emotional and spiritual wellness as the key components in seniors’ well-being

The company changed their name to Lifespark, a name that reflects what they do, providing the zest reigniting the 'spark' in the eyes and lives of seniors. Today Lifespark is a pioneer in whole person senior health, focused on helping people build a pathway to live their best life.
There’s Purpose in Our Story
We started in private-pay with the value-add of life management. We knew home care alone wasn’t enough, so we moved into senior living. Then we added home health, hospice, and dove head-first into the depths of value-based care with senior-savvy primary care and urgent response services. What we’ve learned along the way in over twenty years of being prolific learners, people want to live with purpose. And it’s infused all we do.
Now today, with decades of senior living expertise, we’ve merged our comprehensive capabilities into an unprecedented complete senior health model that has transformed senior living from a place to go, to a place to grow.
