Here Come The Ads: Yet Minnesotans, Particularly Seniors, Should Expect More From Their Health Care Plans

Too many medical providers get involved only after people are sick. They should be offering help when people are healthy and want to stay that way. That’s the opinion of Lifespark CEO, Joel Theisen, BSN, RN, who wrote this article in Minn Post urging seniors and their families to expect more from their health plans.

Lifespark is proud to partner with two of the largest Medicare Advantage payers in the state, UCare and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, who are paving the way for how seniors access services, at no additional cost, to give them more out of their health plan to age magnificently.

As Joel notes in his article, “be bold about growing old, but also about getting what you want.” Annual Enrollment is your annual chance to reevaluate your medical coverage, but it should be about more than just comparison shopping for an insurance plan. It also should be the time to take a moment and consider: How do you want to age? What are your hopes and dreams? And who will help you age the way that is unique to you?
