Former Point Click Care Executive, Travis Palmquist, Joins Lifespark as Chief Growth Officer as Company Prepares for Growth in Senior Living

Travis Palmquist, a senior care executive with over 35 years’ experience in senior living has joined Lifespark, a complete senior health company, as their Chief Growth Officer. He brings a breadth of combined expertise in senior living operations, skilled nursing operations, and LTPAC technology, operations, and business development,

“I wasn’t looking to get back into operations, but Lifespark’s COMPLETE Senior Living model was compelling enough to get my attention and pull me back in to innovate and align with some of the best leaders in this industry,” said Palmquist. “I couldn’t resist the possibilities it created to empower, transform, and innovate in a way that’s never been available to seniors or senior living owners before.”

According to Joel Theisen, BSN, RN, CEO of Lifespark, this is a key investment in our growth strategy. “We have seen tremendous success in our complete senior health business averaging 95-100% occupancy across our 45+ senior living communities,” explained Theisen. “Our COMPLETE model is changing how seniors age with community being the ultimate amenity. Travis brings to the table valuable expertise in growing companies, specifically within the senior living industry, that will help dramatically expand our footprint nationally.”

“I believe with every fiber of my being that Lifespark’s model is the future,” said Palmquist. “I’ve been in this space long enough to know the difference and what I’ve seen has me very excited about what’s ahead for seniors and their families, employees who work in this space, and the senior living industry as a whole.”

As Chief Growth Officer, Palmquist will focus on growth strategies for core services and senior living, execution including mergers and acquisitions as well as revenue growth, technology and MarComm. “What really solidified my decision is Lifespark’s culture,” added Palmquist. “There are really great people here and in all my years I’ve learned this is what matters as we start thinking about legacy for the meaningful mark we can make in this industry.”

Before joining Lifespark, Palmquist held key leadership roles as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Emerging Markets, Senior Care, Industry Markets and Interim Chief Marketing Officer at Point Click Care over the past 10 years. Prior to going into technology, Palmquist spent a decade in senior care operations serving as an Executive Director, Divisional Director, Business Development, and Director, Operations.
