Lifespark Nurse Answers Questions about Hospice on WCCO

Kelly Pritchard, RN, Lifespark Hospice Clinical Liaison, sat down with Susie Jones Health Radio Show on WCCO to talk about hospice. In this conversation, Kelly shared what hospice is, when you should consider hospice, and how it’s paid for. She also explored the types of benefits, services, and team members available to those who qualify for hospice that many people aren’t aware of that are often underutilized.

As Kelly notes, hospice was not designed only for the last days of life although we do admit people nearing the end. The philosophy of hospice is really about focusing on life and enhancing it and it helps when people start that process sooner.
